Chris Kaposy

Chris Kaposy, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Health Care Ethics in the Division of Community Health and Humanities, Faculty of Medicine, Memorial University of Newfoundland. He completed his PhD at SUNY-Stony Brook with a dissertation supervised by Eva Feder Kittay on the ethics of caring for infants. His research interests are in ethical and policy issues in abortion care, vaccine ethics, the ethics of research involving pregnant women, neuroethics, disability studies, and bioethics methodology. Prior to his current appointment, he was a postdoctoral fellow at Dalhousie in the Ethics of Health Research and Policy, supervised by Professor Jocelyn Downie.
